Meet the artist
Christian Hanks is an independent filmmaker and photographer. As a graduate from Wayne State University’s film program, Christian hopes to stay in Detroit and help the local film industry blossom.
His mission is to advocate for keeping independent filmmaking alive and to help secure Michigan film tax credits and incentives. He hopes to become skilled enough in the craft of filmmaking to help out in the production wherever he can, and eventually be a mentor for those who would like to go into the field of filmmaking themselves. His long-term goals are to find a career in motorsport photography/cinematography, or work at Industrial Light and Magic, assisting in the creation of VFX.
